C'è sempre quel momento in cui stai creando il tuo layout, oppure un biglietto di auguri o chissà cos'altro e ti manca il carattere giusto, il font adatto ad esprimere quanto vuoi scrivere. There's always that moment when you're creating your own layout, or a greeting card or whatever and you lack the right font, the font is suitable for expressing what you write.

- DaFont.com è una collezione sempre in espansione che difficilmente vi deluderà; DaFont.com is a collection which hardly ever expanding disappoint;
- anche il sempreverde 1001FreeFonts è decisamente ben fornito; also evergreen 1001FreeFonts is definitely well stocked;
- SimplyTheBest Fonts è bene organizzato e presenta una vasta collezione di caratteri. SimplyTheBest Fonts is well organized and has a vast collection of characters.
Il problema principale di questi siti è che una volta che si inizia a cercare i caratteri dopo un po' ci si perde tra pagine e pagine di font gratuiti.
