Male, perché oggi vi parlo di una stupenda utility per Windows che vi permetterà di installare una qualsiasi distribuzione Linux su chiavetta USB ed utilizzarla per provare attivamente la resa di Linux sul vostro PC senza installare nulla. Evil, because today I'm talking about a wonderful utility for Windows that will let you install any Linux distribution on a USB key and use it to test the performance of an active Linux on your PC without installing anything. Partiamo dall'interfaccia praticamente autoesplicativa: We start from the interface pretty self-explanatory:

Partendo dall'alto ci sono 5 semplici passi: Starting at the top are 5 easy steps:

1. Inserite la stick USB e selezionatela dal primo menu; Insert the USB stick and select it from the first menu;
2. Scegliete da dove installare la distribuzione: se avete scaricato una ISO dal sito, se avete a disposizione un CD oppure se volete direttamente scaricare da internet la distribuzione linux che più vi piace; Choose where to install the distribution: if you downloaded an ISO from the site if you have a CD or if you want to download directly from internet linux distribution that you like;
3. A seconda della grandezza della chiavetta potrete destinare una percentuale di spazio alla “persistenza”: in questo modo le modifiche apportate al sistema verranno salvate sulla chiavetta permettendovi una personalizzazione duratura. Personalmente ho utilizzato questa splendida utility per provare (prima e installare poi) Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook Remix sul mio EeePC HD900 che con Windows XP ci metteva parecchio anche solo per navigare.
